The Negroni
Ah, the Negroni. If you haven’t had one, you must. You’ll probably hate it. What you must do in this scenario is give it a second chance, you won’t regret it.
INGREDIENTS:
- 30ml Campari
- 30ml Sweet Vermouth
- orange peel to garnish
METHOD:
Stir all ingredients together for 20-30 seconds, strain over fresh ice (the larger the better).
Using a vegetable peeler, peel a strip of peel from an orange. If you are feeling refined trim the edges using a paring knife into a rhombus.
Now face the strip at the surface of the drink and squeeze the zest between your thumb and fingers, expressing the oils over the surface of the drink.
Relax and drink.
