Zombie
The classic Zombie is a tropical masterpiece. A totally American invention - the genre of Tiki cocktails is now a somewhat questionable form of cultural appropriation, but back in the 1930s when Tiki was first conceived in a bar in LA owned by Donn “the Beachcomber” Beach, the drinks and the bar were supposed to transport you to a tropical paradise. Most famous for having an inordinate number of different rums, for our Zombie recipe we’ve reached for White Rye, which is a brilliant substitute for white rum.
