Damn Fine Sour
The Damn Fine Sour. This is a twist on the classic “Delicious Sour”, first published in 1892, substituting apple brandy or Calvados for our new Trials & Exceptions whisky - Smoked Heritage Rye Malt Whisky. The name is absolutely not lying, this is a truly delicious sour.
Ingredients
45ml Smoked Heritage Rye Malt Whisky
15ml Crème de pêche
20ml Lemon juice
20ml Sugar syrup (1:1 sugar to water)
15ml Egg whites (or aquafaba for a vegan option)
Method
Dry shake (shake without ice). Shake with ice, strain onto fresh ice, and garnish with a slice of peach. Enjoy!
